Creating an Exemplary Literacy Program K-6

In order to create an exemplary literacy design, we must first consider what is essential in our teaching and establish specific guidelines for working toward this goal. This session identifies how schools must establish "non negotiables" for best practice with specific examples at a classroom and schoolwide level. Mary will identify the most important components of literacy and explore the key aspects of a rich literacy instructional program.
